KARSCH Business and Technology Solutions LLC was founded by Richard Karsch in 2004 to provide consulting and advisory services to participants in the financial services industry -- targeting those firms with fewer than $10 billion assets under management. The primary motivation -- to address inefficiencies in the operations of secondary mortgage market participants and asset management groups through the use of technology and new design approaches to resolve existing problems/issues. Mr. Karsch's professional background encompasses nearly 15 years in both business and technology. Most recently, Mr. Karsch served as the Technology Relationship Manager for E*TRADE Financial's consumer loan group where he managed projects for E*TRADE Financial Mortgage Services Group, implementing a correspondent mortgage loan origination system, as well as an auto loan origination system for E*Trade Global Asset Management. Prior to that, he served as a manager for KPMG Consulting's Financial Services practice and was involved in the creation of several web-enabling solutions for financial clients, as well as numerous real estate-related asset management projects including mortgage loan sales.
